The inspiration for the textile figures found at Danish café Rar Bar was found in the cheerful and innocent design of the Mr. Doodle Machine. The idea of having so many different characters is partly to show people that everyone is welcome at Rar Bar and partly to entertain the customers visually in a way that also says something about the café’s history.
To make sure that the textile was going to be unique, we incorporated various small, concrete elements from the café’s own universe into the design of the figures. The idea for the background of large circles was taken from the geometrical patterns and warm colours of the 1970s – twisted with the three theme colours from Rar Bar’s previous design, red, orange and olive green.

In close cooperation with media agency Carat Danmark, JaHallo has created an entirely new strategic position for Skanlux on the vacation homes market in Denmark. Based on Carat’s analyses, JaHallo has developed a new visual identity for Skanlux that has resulted in new sales material such as unique catalogues representing Skanlux in the best possible way as well as a new website for Skanlux. The website in particular is a result of joint efforts and is a good example of the Internet’s marketing platform potential.
